When many Alaro inhabitants also worked from the mining industry. For over one hundred several years they brought coal up from up from 200 metres of depth. The energy wealth in the community led to the construction of an influence plant in 1901. Alaro was the 1st village in Mallorca with an influence source. This system, nevertheless stays nowadays
